When I was a young girl, I was inspired and encouraged by countless people in my life. My mother was a single mother of three and worked hard to provide for our family. Despite difficult circumstances, a passion for education and a better life motivated me to seize every opportunity that life had to offer. I was able to leverage my strengths in order to help me achieve my goals in life. Most importantly, I learned two important lessons from those who inspired and encouraged me. One, education is the key to success, and two, use your own gifts and talents to help others achieve, as well. My career has been built upon these two principles – educating and helping others in their personal growth journey.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I always wanted a big family. I imagined having a loving husband and well-mannered children. I often imagined living in a big brick house with a huge green yard, something that I had seen on T.V. or when visiting friends who lived in two-parent homes. The expectations that I set early on for myself helped guide me when accepting a suitable husband and when weighing career options that would afford me the opportunity to support a family. Although all of those things did not happen exactly like I had imagined (no brick homes and hardly any huge yards in Southern California), I truly believe that God has given me much favor in this area and has blessed me with the desires of my heart.
I am a wife and mother of four beautiful children. Some of my most cherished moments are the times that I spend with my family. We enjoy many family traditions and doing some of the simpliest things in life such as getting ice cream, going glamping, taking a drive, and visiting extended family on the East Coast. Raising well-rounded and Christ-centered children is one of my biggest accomplishments!
